Try saying that five times fast… got some great alliteration going on in that title too. Ok, so maybe I will always be an English teacher at heart, but this pesto is absolutely delicious! It has an original flavor which makes it worth trying. I got this recipe originally from www.seriouseats.com
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- handful of chopped parsley
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 2/3 cup Parmesan
- pinch of kosher salt
- linguine (or pasta of your choice)
Chop garlic in food processor while water is boiling. Add pasta and cook until al dente (the healthiest and best way to eat your pasta!) Put the rest of the ingredients in the food processor and pulse until blended. Serve with salad and top with parm!
Update: Tried it with gnocchi! Mervolous!
